Well, not much to update today.  I slept in and missed my philosphy class, not too thrilled about that.  On other fronts I am overall just feeling very lonely.  Don't get me wrong, I love my friends and family... I guess I just want a girlfriend really bad.

My last relationship I had earlier this year was not very satisfiying... but why?  Was it because I was asking too much of it?  I felt that she was too clingy and (I know this is odd coming from a male's mouth) wanted to move too quickly on the physical side.

I guess I'm looking for a partner, not a fling.  Somone I could confide my inner thoughts with and that she would confide in me her's.  Somone who trusts me, someone that I could trust.

I also want stimulating conversations about world views and ideas, package this with similair interests and perhaps some good looks I couldn't be happier.

But there's the word... happy.  In other words pleasure.  That's the hedonist in me talking.  The side of me that will always be persuing pleasure above all other things.  Think that personal gratification is the only value.

But what if being completely self giving is the thing that makes me happy?  I know I don't want to be lonely, stuck in a world where drawing and writing are escapes.  I don't want those things to be escapes, just expressions.  I want someone I could share those expressions with.  I would also like that person to share her expressions with me.

Oh well, such is life.  All I can do is, "Suck it up," as my old Drill Sergeant used to say.

That's all for now, good night.

Well, tomarrow I will be working a good 12 hours at my security job.  I'm not really looking forward to it, but at least I'll get some overtime pay.

I can't wait until the end of the semester, I'm finishing with a rather strong 3.0 GPA which means I'll be able to take more units this upcoming semester.  Something I'm definetely looking forward to.

I'm also thinking about doing something cool and sociable for my birthday party this year.  It's coming up in May and my mind is currently drawing up a blank.  The things we ponder...

Well, that's all for now, lates.

Current Location: my garage
Current Music: none at the moment... but that will change.

Hello friends, it has been a while to be sure.  I think the time has come to again reinstate this journal for some good fun about updating for the sake of updating.

Since late December, I have been back in Camarillo enjoying the civilian life.  Going to college, holding a decent job and catching up with some old friends.

Since then I have also refined what is important to me right now in life, such as breaking my hedonistic addiction to feeling good about stuff.  Pleasure is not the only life value to strive for.  There are in fact other motivations in life, that make one wiser and nobler than they know.

I have also moved on from past relationships in my life, so much so that I think its appropriate to begin updating again (it's free after all) and this place, like MySpace and others are a great way of self expression without physically jumping out in front of crowds to do it.

With that said I do realize just how much this is jumping in front of a crowd to do stuff, but I don't have to put up with your gawking faces...  not that I would mind them, I just have the privlidge of not having to look, though I'm sure I would get a handy amount of responses.

I noticed this page has been updated to display my texting number, I have updated it accordingly.  I may as well give out my gamer tag for Xbox live as well: TheWindClaw.  So now you all can duel me on Chromehounds or Star Trek Legacy and in the future Halo 3.

Other than that, yeah, hope you all have a great week and I look forward to hearing from whoever may be reading this page.  Ta ta!

After another long long, very long hiatus the Revisionist is back to bring (perhaps) weekly updates to his livejournal.

Here is what you've missed out on:
1. I'm out of the Army (Honorable Discharge)
2. No, I didn't go over seas.
3. I lived haphazardly up in Seattle from August through December with an old buddy, a new buddy and an ex-girlfriend.
4. Moved back to Camarillo (OMFG!!)
5. Re-enrolling in college to complete a bachelors degree in multi-media (no not teacher, changed my mind again! But it's okay, I haven't even started yet).
6. Will be bringing 'Wind Claw' up as a weekly comic on a webpage to be known as Chocolate Cake Media (sorry, no hyper link at this time).
7. I also lost my pet, Phoenix, over the last Thanksgiving to cancer of the pancreas.  I miss her dearly and, "Have many fond memories of that dog."

While going to college I'll be going to work part-time while I take advantage of my Veteran's Benefits for higher education.

These next few days will be depending heavily on my own self-driven initiative, something I've been known to be rather laxadasical on... so 'nag' me for the best.

Well, that's all for now, love all the new changes to livejournal.  I'm definetely keeping this for a while.

Quote of the day:
"All endings mark new beginnings."

To unite all peoples within our nation !

Jessie! James!
Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth! That's right!

Yeah, I felt that Team Rocket needed some recognition for some reason on my site. Perhaps in some strange way I identify with them... who knows...

Tomarrow I'm out... ta da!

Just where is our future, the things we've done and said!
Let's just push the button, we'd be better off dead!
'Cause I hate you!
And I berate you!
And I can't wait to get to you!

The sins of all our fathers, being dumped on us — the sons.
The only choice we're given is how many megatons?
And I eschew you!
And I say, screw you!
And I hope you're blue, too.

We're all bloody worthless, just greedy human scum.
The numbers all add up to a negative sum.

And I hate you!
And I hate you!
And I hate you...too!

...

Now lets all flip Kirk "The Bird."

I had to find this song and post it again, as a number of you know I've been going completely Star Trek crazy lately and I felt this song needed to be remembered...

Current Location: Ft. Lewis, Washington
Current Mood: ecstaticecstatic
Current Music: Floater
At roughly 1750 on 24 August 2006, allied forces struck two non-allied battle forces roughly 20 miles north of Ft. Lewis in Lakewood, Washington.

The purpose of the operation was to destroy the fighting capacity of the enemy company sized elements in order to secure local area against insurgant forces.

Enemy force one was composed of an assault level battlemech, a Liao made Yu Huang with two supporting tanks and roughly 4 squad sized elements. Enemy was attempting to defend it's local territory and research facilities. However, as this was one of the first actuall sorties for force one all participating units found themselves lacking in adequate training.

Enemy force two was composed of stolen allied units and equipment consisting of one Marauder II assault level battlemech, two heavy tanks and 3 squad sized elements of infantry. Since force two was pirate in origin it did not posess sufficient strategic or tactical skills for the battle. It is believed that an informant was responsible for the composition of the force to best serve the lacking skills of the pirates. force two's goal was to sieze and secure any technology and resources from force one's territory and research facilities.

This mission was tasked to c/52 IN AT Company who created task group from one DI Schmidt and 3rd Platoon Huaberk Battle armors who had set themselves into position the previous night waiting for the mission and to obtain the element of surprise. 3rd Platoon was reinforced by one heavy class Vulture IV.

The battle commenced at 1803 that day where force one and force two immediately clashed outside the range of 3rd platoon's weapons. 3rd platoon gained a support by fire position while the Vulture battlemech harrased enemy lines. The Vulture was damaged in the course of these skirmishes but remained mission effective.

By 1958 that day the battle was over, no enemy units remained in the area. No casualties were taken. After the battle it is clear that we have perhaps seen the last for the pirate group which composed force two. Force one is now more than willing to participate in a full blown war with our Allied forces and is likely that this group will grow in power in threat in the coming weeks, however, intelligence indicates that force one is moving to another part of the sector to participate in a military campaign that the force has already sworn its allegiance too.

Improves:
1. Battleforces should consist of more numbers to engage more targets
2. Should the Vulture have been salvaged the mission capability would have been severely decreased
3. Engage targets more quickly

Sustains:
1. Support by fire to keep enemy at bay
2. Excellent use of PPC Capacitor
3. Battlemech manuevering and speed were very adequate for mission at hand

End Report
Battle Commander,
Colonel Pearce (I wish!)

Well, this article details some actuall charismatic acts by the person that I shall refer to as Rice. What's great was that this plan of cease fire was drawn up by France AND the United States... and that the United States will donate money to repair Lebenon's infastracture... you read that right, Lebenon's.

Big thing is we don't want people like Syria interfering with this whole deal, which I'm sure will piss that country off to no end but hey... nobody's perfect.

In other news, still looking for a job... I hope I don't end up working at a Starbucks... but hey, why not?

"What are you going to do?" he said. "I guess you have to be safe."

Famous last words of a free man. As I'm sure most of you know there was rumbling about a terrorist plot to destroy at least 10 planes across the Atlantic Ocean by means of using some form of liquid explosive devices.

I look at the news and I see armed guards and police openly displaying their weapons, and I hear more and more of the common folk just giving in... out of fear.

Not fear of their government, at least not yet. Fear of those lurking terrorists that are apparently all around us (even here at Ft. Lewis, really!).

How far are we going to go to creat that, "Safe and secure society?"

I mean, one guy could bring his music player on board a 12+ hour flight... his music player. How long before somebody starts regulating what movies they can watch while on the flight?

This is not resolve against terrorists. Actually, some of these quotes remind me of something else...

"Thursday after British authorities arrested 24 people in an alleged plot to blow up U.S.-bound planes"
~associated press
"You just try to make them understand that it's for their safety."
~associated press
Kinda sounds like this:

"Police raided seventeen homes in the birmingham area early this morning, uncovering what is believed to be a major terrorist ring."
~V for Vendetta
"This is for your protection."
~V for Vendetta

Yeah, kinda reminds me of it too:

Do you know what I currently hate? My dipping, R&B-listening, tastless-altrock-listening, endless-World of Warcraft-playing, no good room mate. He is carelessly playing that god damned (meant that in it's full meaning) game right now because "He can't go to sleep" so he feels the need to play his RB/Alt Rock bullshit as loud as he can get away with, "I'm not trying to wake you!" even though he tries to gently push the volume up on his stereo throughout the night.

If there is one man I want to shoot right now, it's my scrawny-insecure-selfdefeatist-non-condom using-no good room mate. Never have I wanted to kill anyone more. No politeness or sensitivity to others at all, and always feels he's the victim of every circumstance!!

As soon as I'm done making this late night entry, I'm going to TELL him to turn off his music or he's going to get my foot in his face.

End Entry...
